Croatia is a land comprising of many small and yet exotic islands. Islands of Croatia has a very distinct and unique characteristics of their own. Cres
This is the second largest island on the Adriatic Sea and is near Rijeka. In the ancient period, Cres was under the Venetian rule for almost 800years. It is not one of the frequently visited islands of Croatia, but despite its solitary nature this island continues to be a beautiful place to relax.
Losinj
This is undoubtedly one of the most popular island of of all islands of Croatia. The spread of green makes this land a soothing for eyes. This island too was under the Venetian rule till 1797 and was for years overshadowed by the neighboring places. In later period, it earned popularity due to the ship building center here. However now-a-days, it is an important tourist destination.
The Brijuni Islands
This is actually a group of islands consisting of 2 large islands and 12 smaller islands. The largest island of this archipelago is Veliki Brijun. The lush of green makes this island one of the best place in the whole country. Tourists can often see wild animals like deers and birds like peacock running round the green cover of this place.
